“Colors of the Wind” was inspired by clouds that look like rippling water. Sunsets bring a unique moment in time where any color becomes possible in the sky. When the cloud formations are just right you would think reality is blurring with fantasy and you have to remind yourself you’re looking up into the sky, not down across a lake.
I had a hard time coming up with a title for this piece so I put a call out on multiple social media platforms. “Colors of the Wind” was suggested by ✨SomeRandomPerson✨ on TikTok and the title instantly resonated. The main song from my favorite childhood Disney movie? Yes, that’s the one.
